Stockwell Academy is celebrating the success of Teaching Assistant apprentice Isla, who has achieved a Distinction in her apprenticeship programme. Joining the academy with a passion for working with children and gaining hands-on classroom experience, Isla quickly became a valued member of the foundation stage team. Throughout her apprenticeship, she supported pupils’ learning, behaviour and daily classroom routines while building strong relationships with both children and colleagues.

Isla’s achievement reflects both her hard work and the supportive environment provided by the Stockwell team. Having successfully completed her apprenticeship, she will continue her journey at Stockwell Academy as a Teaching Assistant before beginning a Primary Education degree this September, with the ambition of becoming a teacher.
