Highlights at Collingwood Primary

World Diversity Day

We had an explosion or colour and pattern at Collingwood a few weeks ago when we celebrated World Diversity Day. Children and staff were invited to dress in clothing which represented their culture, diversity and beliefs. Everyone looked fabulous and it was great to see so many wonderful outfits. 

Summer Fair - Kay Day

Collingwood opened the gates to family and friends of Collingwood to celebrate the annual Summer Fair. This year it was bigger and better than ever before with a brand new 'agency' section. Not only could children buy lots of wonderful items, families could also get information from a range of local charities, support groups and health professionals. The weather was wonderful and we also raised lots of money for Mrs Cawley's Little Stars.

In coaching last week, the children discussed the topic of what it means to be a Refugee, how and why we could help.
