New Sandpit Opens at Wheeler Primary School!

Pupils at Wheeler Primary School are loving their new sandpit, made possible thanks to support from the local community.

Customers at the Malt Shovel pub raised an amazing £1,500 over the past 6 months, while Jupiter Utility Management helped by donating their time, equipment and materials to get everything ready. 

The sandpit is part of the school’s OPAL play approach, helping to make lunchtimes more active, creative and fun for pupils. 

 Visitors officially opened the sandpit with a ribbon-cutting and enjoyed seeing children already making the most of it. Our school councillors were proud to show everyone around!
