Admissions consultation 2023/24
The Marvell College (TMC), part of Hull Collaborative Academy Trust (HCAT), are consulting to reduce the current pupil admission number (PAN) from 260 to 240. The consultation period will run from 14th Nov to 12th Dec.
TMC have presented a business case to the governing body of TMC and the board of trustees of HCAT, which has been approved.
The decision to consult on reducing the PAN has been taken due to the increase in number of pupils allocated a place at TMC, and the insufficient space on site to safely accommodate all students. It is the decision of the school and Trust leaders that this course of action is necessary to ensure that all students receive the highest quality education, in a safe and appropriate environment.
Any comments on these proposals should be addressed to: email@example.com
Following the consultation, the admission authority (the Trust) will formally set (‘determine’) the admission arrangements for admission in (2023/24). Determined policies will be on the school’s website and Trust website by 28th February after which objections can be raised.
If you require a paper copy of the document, you can request this from the Trust via firstname.lastname@example.org
